Jessica Davis, Right for District 2

It is such an awesome election season with great candidates. Charlotte has a plethora of talented individuals that can transform our city from good to great. I have read all the materials I could possible read about District 2. And after dilberating with the Black Charlotte Team, we stand with Jessica Davis for City Council. What pushed her over with our news publication, was her campaign team, led by Colette Forrest sharing her dynamic platform. 

Ms. Davis believes in accessibility, opportunity and community. Having access to healthy food options and jobs that we see in more affluent areas is important to her. Bringing opportunities for economic and building development/growth is essential and preserving the beautiful communities and acreages of land, walking trials and parks is vital to her. I have seen Ms. Davis at several community events and I am looking forward to her building our beautiful city. Jessica Davis, a woman who is right for District 2.
