Black Line News Endorses Lucille Puckett for Mayor - The Woman Who Hears Us

​We have been watching these local mayoral races consistently. Through social media and attending a plethora of events, there have been too many parties and not enough planning. We’ve watched the response of too many shootings, the RNC’s possible waiver into our beloved city for 2020 and nonsense talk about affordable housing. We’ve gotten up each morning and wondered can we be more divisive in the city; businesses stepping on the necks of other businesses, schools dropping the ball for these kids and our City Council, in all honesty toting themselves as a group of social elites rather than generals at war.  

Therefore as promised, Black Charlotte is endorsing who we believe will turn this city around. Lucille Puckett, understandably answered our questions, as she spoke of the killings with fire and not flames. She challenged us to think about the issues and not the image of Charlotte. She consistently tackles the killings in the streets and is willing to educate not mock the people. She gave a clear explination to Affordable Housing not the fluff we are use to. 

Anyone with influence should be endorsing candidates, not sitting on the sidelines waiting for a miracle. Black Charlotte wants change and we stand beside Lucille Puckett, for Mayor of Charlotte Mayor; the woman who hears us.
