Dirty Politics - VOTE JOHNSON & BROWN

Standup4women and Black Line News supports two City Council Candidates not because of a popularity contest but because of their proven track record of advocacy and change. We put our vote behind incumbent Renee Johnson, District 4 and District 3 candidate Tiawana Brown. These two very strong women are who we need on the council to make some serious changes in Charlotte. Both women have spoken out about the problem of missing and exploited women here in NC, their push for fair housing has been evident and their presence has had boots on the ground daily, yet Renee Johnson has been ousted by the mayor for her politics of activism and Tiawana Brown has been smeared for her arrest record many years ago that has been expunged. As women we should be outraged!!!

As a voter and a resident of Charlotte, I employ that we get rid of the old guard and bring some people in who seriously want change on Tuesday. Violence is at an all time high, poverty and housing is deplorable and our communities are suffering without accountability. Vote Brown and Johnson because we have no place for dirty politics.
