City Council Woman Renee Johnson

Black Line News was proud and honored to endorse Renee Johnson for City Council some years back. It was before COVID and the heartbreak of our beloved city. It was before virtual learning and the confusion and violence in our schools. It was before the 1st African American Vice President, when imagery of "her" was far and few between. But she was elected with style and Grace, giving our Queen City something to be proud of. And she took the difficult mantle under very challenging circumstances, giving our 4th District a vision beyond zoning and planning but one that includes people and purpose. Black Line News and it's affiliate Black Charlotte endorses, Renee Johnson once again for City Council of the 4th District.
