Who do I publish?

As a publisher I take pride in finding good, committed, genuine writers. During COVID, I battled sickness, domestic violence, homelessness and despair but still attempted to practice reciprocity and keep the business afloat. I separated the gritty work of the company from the inspirational stuff. I created training programs because there is no point to writing a book if you don't know how to sell it. I broke down promotions, editing, formatting, drafting to allow authors, who I call "authorprenuers" to brand themselves. And in 3 years I transformed an idea to an empire. Now the question is, "who do I publish". I publish good, committed and genuine authors. If I have dropped you in the last couple of years, that was your deficiency.

By good, I mean you're trainable. Not many remember English 1 but the cost of editing is based on the quality of the work. If you are not grammatically sound, that's ok. That's why I developed workshops. A good writer is trainable and willing to learn.

By committed, I mean you want it more than me. You can't pay me to write your book because that means it's my book. You have to be 100 about the whole process, not just writing. You have to blog, build an audience, save money and grind until it's done. Your commitment is rewarded by the response of the people.

Lastly, you must be genuine. Agape Voice is willing to step aside for your brand but it's not genuine to not give it credit. Under Agape Voice is Black Line News, which you should be a regular blogger for. Under Black Line News is Black Line Books, which is an affiliate that I pass work to when you can't operate in the above.

We are a running engine. We don't compete or step on one another to make it. We work together. We practice reciprocity. I have put your books ahead of mine for many years not because I'm not the best that ever did it but because I'm the mother of this engine and that's what a mother does for those she has birth.
