50 Year Old, Black Woman in Charlotte Goes Viral By Dearest PriceAgape VoiceIt was hard enough setting up a GoFund yesterday because I already embarrass my children tremendously with my writing and those are the only human opinions that truly matter to me. It was so hard telling FB that I have been taken advantaged by a Republican candidate, when t...

Juneteenth - New ChainsDearest PriceAgape VoiceI usually write about the historical relevance of this day but today I will try to write about what I hope it will become. From past words of writer, Dearest, "On this day we celebrate getting played. You kept us in Texas in bondage when we were no longer your slave". Some came at me and said, we weren...

Wyandanch DayI remember going to the parade as a child. This was in the early 80's when the images of us were far and few between. I can still see dancers, melinated officials and professionals, marching bands, churches, the fire department and decorated floats take over the quaint streets of Wyandach, representing us. I remember us shutting down S...

I changed in the wake of the Uvalde Massacre, I'm sickened by what happened that day, I'm up at 3 am, wondering about the pain, that for their families will never go away, Why would we sell a semiautomatic, to someone who is only 18 years old?A demonic man, that walked the streets whom everyone said was so cold. . . And those that say that gun...

I have listened to the Monique and DL Hughley's strife for about a week and a half, perplexed by it going this far. I have been team Monique for many years, feeling as a woman that we often don't get our proper due. I rolled with her when it seemed as if she was blacklisted in the industry. I also, saluted her as she took the self procla...

American Historians have been some of the greatest narcissist of our time, omitting, embellishing, even fabricating the contributions of Blacks, African Americans, People of African decent. And all the while, this country questions why melinated children fail in our schools, leaving an achievement gap that no one knows how to fill. Well in the words of the late, great, Bob Marley, “Tell the children the truth”. Give us our rightful place in history and show our faces and the roles we played. This is the first lesson, in my new book, “An End to the Uproar”. Share with your children today, while it’s relevant. This is a very important day in American History.
“The first Memorial Day was on May 1, 1865 in Charleston, SC by those that were formerly enslaved by our government, in the institution called American Slavery. American Slavery was a chattel system of bondage that held melinated people against their will for over 200 years. Well these newly freed people were inspired to pay homage to those that fought in the Civil War under the Union Army. The Union Army was more on the side to abolish slavery than the Confederacy. And Black people discovered that, 257 Union Soldiers had been buried in a mass grave on a Confederate Prison Camp. Over a 2 week span, Black Americans dug up the bodies of the Union Soldiers giving them a proper grave. Showing their gratitude for their bravery during the Civil War, Black adults and children, Missionaries and advocates then had a parade with over 10,000 present honoring the fallen soldiers. They decorated the new burial in which the tradition continued as Decoration Day. General John A. Logan was given the create for creating Decoration Day when in fact, Black Americans had celebrated it some four years prior. You can no longer erase us from history because Black History and American History are synonymous. ~ Dearest Price, “Tell the children the truth.”

I immediately ran to Will Smith and not Chris Rock because although Rock was hit, it was Will who was damaged. It was Will that had a public melt down in front of the world. It was Will to act the monkey at an event that only a crumb of our people can even imagine being exposed to. It was Will who was the laughing stock at the Red Table and in...

I am so proud of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who will be the first Black female Supreme Court Justice of our lifetime.
