Tiawana Brown - District 3 Seat

Black Line News and Black Charlotte is proud to make our first endorsement of the calendar year for candidate Tiawana Brown. Her presence in the community has always been prevalent, as an advocate, freedom fighter and social changer. A native of Charlotte’s District 3, she believes in the power of community and will be working hard to address the economic disparities that the people of Charlotte face. Her impact on incarceration reform is second to none and her attention on Affordable Housing is the change we need.
