"Roots & Wings"

When it comes to making an impact on the community, these two have truly made a difference in Rowan County.  Alex Clark AKA Melanated Genius and Roberto "Bully" White have provided our community with programs & events that focus on children making lifelong connections as well as mentorship.  Mr. White's Boxing Camp for Kids was a 2 week long program where the children were able to learn boxing techniques and socialize with other children in their age group.  It was a great melting pot of all races and the goal was for the youth to be able to develop relationships despite color.  Mr. Clark has done great things in the community through his non-profit organization, Compass in partnership with his wife, Alicia Byrd Clark (Gemstones).  "We desire to bequeath two things to our children:  The first one is roots, the other is wings." Blessings & Favor In All Their Endeavors!!  Look Out For Them In Your Neighborhood!!!
