All In The Family - Tommy Nichols, is Charlotte’s Best

​What an enjoyable morning I had with Tommy Nichols at Queens Coffee Bar. A man of great dept, one that is extremely spiritual yet able to hold a conversation on any topic you may pose. Mr. Nichols is one of Charlotte’s finest, a Media Training Consultant that has over 20 years experience in technology. He advises, consults, produces, media base material that is creative and in demand. He is also a social advocate that has a strong passion for the Black Village. But he is quick to tell you that God and family is the center of his universe. It was as if our conversation started from the African Diaspora but concluded with one of his most powerful projects to date. 

With the cost to produce content decreasing, Mr. Nichols has started the exciting Power Up Program for our youth. It is a hands-on art, business, media and technology training program for ages 8 - 17. This includes digital media/film, technology/coding, podcast/music, entrepreneurship and leadership/science. If all this is not enough, our conversation ended with the discovery that Mr. Nicolos is the cousin of one of Black Charlotte’s favorites, Londa (Londa’s Place). It truly is All In The Family with this exceptional man and Black Line looks forward to writing more about Black Charlotte’s Best, Tommy Nichols.
