Black Charlotte’s Black Man on the Rise - Ja’Ron Vanderhall, M.Ed., teacher, editor, educator, entrepreneur, phenom

There are so many cases that we talk about Black Men with contempt. We are quick to tell what they do wrong while ignoring all the phenomenal achievements that they are exemplifying in our communities. Well, because of this, Black Charlotte has added a new category called, "Black Man on the Rise". Once a week, we will feature a Black Man that is "bringing it"; one that has shown, consistency, love and a proven track record for results that makes the village better. Like, Black Charlotte's Finest, this is a nominated driven blog. Today, I'm nominating, the first "Black Man on the Rise", Ja'Ron Vanderhall.

Ja'Ron is a native of Dillon, SC. He has always had a love for children and helping to cultivate the process of their development. He has a Master of Education from Benedict College in Early Childhood/Elementary Education which is exceptional and rare. He is one of the awesome teachers of "Profound Gentlemen" and he is the new Leader/Editor and Chief of Black Charlotte. Only in his 20's, he is currently writing his first children's book and creating an awesome line of bow ties with his partner, Krystal Barton; another wonderful educator.

I can go on and on about Ja'Ron, but what I want to say is our village has an enormous achievement gap when it comes to Literacy and Stem. We have built beautiful school buildings with a plethora of resources, yet our children are still falling short. One thing I know for certain, it starts with Early Childhood Development. We need more Black Men in this area of expertise. We need more Black Men as Role Models for this sensitive population. We need to support the powerful recruiting of "Profound Gentlemen" and help promote changing the face of modern-day education. Classrooms taught by a majority of women, have proven to be ineffective in many cases. Corrective Education starts with Early Intervention and Ja'Ron Vanderhall is at the forefront of this trend. Please support this young Black Man who is "doing it".
