"A Woman's Worth"

I speak her name.......and speak for any woman who has lived through or lost the battle of domestic violence.  My heart will forever go out to the children who have no mother, the family who lost their sister, auntie or even cousin.  No man, woman or child should ever have to live the rest of their lives missing their family member because of someone who couldn't control their anger.  

Over my life, I have seen it and experienced it!  Each situation was a man who either saw physical violence against another woman as they were growing up, mental abuse towards them as a child or even abandonment by a parent.  None of these types of men were taught how to cherish a woman.  They never grasp the true meaning of a woman't worth.  In the words of a friend of mine, "They just weren't raised right."

As I watch the news and see Cherica Adams` pictures, I am reminded that I could have been her many times.....yet I know it was meant for me to be able to share my story of the journey of A Woman's Worth!
