Black Folks Winning!!!

​     Black people are constantly being fed a negative narrative that we are not succeeding. If you actually research college graduates black men and women make up for majority of college graduates today. More black children are graduating high school to attend college then ever before. But we still have our own to say we are not winning. Well if you are only factoring in what's around you then perhaps your world looks bleak. We as a people need to start looking beyond what we are told about our own and start letting our eyes help with the truth. I'm here to tell you we are winning, we are coming together on common ground, we are understanding the importance of putting our differences aside to get things done. But we still have those few that feed into the narratives and say we as Black people will never get it together. When in all actuality we are just waiting for ya'll to stop talking and help us keep improving our image. Stop talking negative, and start speaking the positive into fruition. Start being part of the rebuilding process instead of sitting on the sidelines criticizing those of us that are working on solutions; and stop using talking points you have heard to be your truth. We must let our actions shine so others know we are ready. My pledge to you brothers and sisters; I will not berate you but uplift you; I will not inflict harm but help protect you; I will support you in business and school ventures; I will help with rebuilding of our communities and our image; I will no longer let negative narratives determine my thoughts or actions towards you my brothers and sisters. I will not allow others to tarnish your name nor your success in my presence because I am your keeper. BLACK FOLKS WE ARE WINNING!
