We Have Leaders

​Maurice Jordan is the founder of P.O.E. (Product Of My Environment), a non-profit that seeks to save the youth from the violence. He is my brother and friend, bringing truth and light to Charlotte, so we better listen. A Charlotte native, he pushes these “suits” into dealing with the crime, poverty and displacement in the Queen’s City. He knew exactly what it was about when my friend Reggie was shot this pass Thanksgiving because he also lost a child to gun violence. Yet he still takes on the neighborhood, dropping knowledge, spreading wisdom and bringing communities back together. And I have been given the honor to co-write his story in 2020. 
Maurice is currently developing a documentary about life in Charlotte; past and present. He has a clothing line and he speaks throughout the city. We have leaders.
