Your Loss Is Our Gain!!!

A lot of people have it worst than me. I’m so aware of that. I am no victim, nor do I want your hand outs. But I have to say “Loud and Clear” that I was taken advantaged by the Republican Campaign, Stephanie for NC, that hired over 50 Black people and only paid out a select few. Poll workers such as my new friend Sean Steale who gave up during the first round of lies can attest. And I don’t know if this was a set up, hiring an all Black Staff to then not pay them properly. I don’t know if our use of Cash App and Check Cashing Spots gave them the assumption that they could  “hook us up”, pay us under the table. I don’t know if her white skin has made this permissible because I can see my Black tail going to jail for something like this. I just don’t know. 
In these desperate times $20 an hour can be life changing for some but what if you don’t get paid? That means eviction, repossession, liens. That means credit drops, kids doing without. Who is out there to protect us? Wandrea ArShaye "Shaye" Moss, a former Georgia election worker, testified along with her mother Ruby Freeman during the fourth hearing held by the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capital on how Republicans terrorized her during what . . . ELECTIONS!!! And the fear is here in Charlotte, with few speaking up. Is this our New America??? Filing with Lawyers is too much money. All we got in Charlotte is Joe Bruno and he has been awesome. 
After the attack on the capital, I said I was done with the Republican Party no matter if their talking points sound like mine. The hate, the venom that some of these individuals create in our society, keeping their foot on our neck is appalling and I will speak for every mother that was asked to stand on Beaties Ford, every teen, that was convinced to give out those green flyers, every man who got suited up to speak in your behalf. Shame on you Stephanie. Your loss will be our gain.
