Find Allisha Watts -Give Her National Coverage

But in a time of great hatred for Black Women it has truly become difficult.

My name is Dearest Price, Racial Justice Network's Regional President, Black Charlotte and Black Line News CEO, Agape Voice Ministries local preacher, Aaron Consulting and Counseling's CIO, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated, an NAACP member but most importantly I am a mother . . . a mother to a young vibrant woman like Allisha Watts. And I stand before you all today to intentionally get some answers about Ms. Watts whereabouts and what is going on. Angela Davis said it best," to understand how any society functions you must understand the relationship between the men and the women of that society". And what I call the culture, most recently has either ignored, suppressed, jumped over, omitted, forgotten, curtailed, abandoned our most precious, which are Black Women. On yesterday I stood right in this building with a situation of my own, dismissed from speaking out in a domestic case, that God would bring me right back here today to assist the friends and family of Allisha Watts, who recently went missing while visiting our Queen City.

I won't be before you long but in the wake of Carlee Russell, the young women who lied about being kidnapped, some of us have become desensitized and complacent when it comes to Sistahs coming up missing. As Black Women we have taken a back seat in the news with traffick cases plummeting in our communities and amongst our circles. We have to jump through hoops to get on major news outlets. We have to be attorney's ourselves to be allowed to appear in court. We have to be all convincing to be heard as time is not in our favor.

So I'm going to tell you what I believe has to be done to find Alisha and help so many others being oppressed by a system that lets us sit at their boardroom tables but doesn't allow us to speak.

1. Let's drive traffic together about this story. Pin Allisha Watts on your FB page, on your IG or what ever medium you use.
2. Demand answers of who and where is James Dunmore. Sheriff's Department make known what you know.
3. Sew seed into Alisha's family. They can't do this without resources.

Finally I believe God is a way-maker, a miracle worker. I believe God has stated for a time such as this that no weapon formed against Allisa Watts shall prosper. Let's do this together. No showboating Charlotte. No grandstanding Queen City . No titles Mecklenburg County because she is ours, let's all come together to bring her home.

"I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept." And I will not accept Alisha Watts nor any other woman to go missing like this any more.

Let's bring her home safely in the Name of Jesus. Power to the people!!!
