A Rally for Justice - Rest in Power Shanquella Robinson

'The most disrespected person in America, is the black woman' ~ Malcolm X
Shanquella’s death will not be vain. That was the message at the beautiful rally held in her honor this evening at Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church. The sanctuary was filled with family, friends, advocates, clergy, ministers, leaders, spectators and media, all in love. As I listened to Mothers of Murdered Offspring, The Nation of Islam, Dr. Walker, Mario Black , Dr. Blanche, Pastor Garnett  John Barnett to name a few, the teachings were all so similar and powerful, we must protect Black Women. Her death was over jealousy, hate and rage and the story is not a new one. We will not only make others accountable but our own as well. 
We need unity. We need to organize. We need to love.
