Did she yell too much? Did she cause him to run? When a Black Man goes missing, the mate worries about the date. Did I talk too much? Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered that steak. When a Black Man goes missing the wife knows who he is laying with. Her discernment is fire and she agonizes their last rift. When a Black Man goes missing it’s most detrimental to his kids. Not able to process the cause, even if they are not biologically his. When a Black Man goes missing, it’s like the absence of God, it’s the ultimate punishment; not sparing the rod. It’s like a kingdom with no King, a house with no roof. It’s like a clock with no time or a word with no truth. When a Black Man goes missing, we can’t make him stay. We can’t control his behavior or pray it away. But we must realize, when we are missing our men, our future is destined to an unfaithful end. So we must try to hold on, keep bonds where we can because a village is only strong, held by our Black Men.
