A Loss to The Sistahood - Traci Braxton Passes at 50

My heart is broken because my homegirl, Traci Braxton has died of esophageal cancer at 50 years young. The morning of March 12th, the beloved singer and reality star left us. I lived in Maryland for sometime and attended the local church of the Braxton’s. Traci always stood out with her beauty, charisma and powerful voice. Her homegirl sensibility, Sistah like relatability and constant holding it down responsibility made her so special. This has me crushed that she is now in heaven because these are the type of Sistahs we need so desperately. She could get down with any conversation and seemed so real, never letting her celebrity status or Christian upbringing stop her. She was every woman and this is truly a devastating loss to the Sistahood. Condolences to her husband, son, the Braxton family, relatives, friends and fans.
