Murder 102 - R.I.P. Reggie

When the murdered has a face it doesn’t feel like the news. When the murdered has a face you become consumed with the clues. When the murdered has a face you remember the time. When the murdered has a face it becomes so much more than a crime.
Charlotte, the Queen’s City, is at murder 102 and while most just switch the channel, NB doesn’t know what to do. You didn’t kill someone common, you killed off our seed, as some flee to the south, of big hopes and big dreams. 
This man was a King, respected by all where he grew but Queen Charlotte didn’t protect him as gun violence is no longer new. 
But understand that murders 1 - 101 were faceless by your press, I will hold up King Reggie and give you no rest. We need to fight this gun problem as we all go insane. Your statistics have doubled and only you are to blame. For all those that knew Reggie, we all have to say, this act was so senseless on this most horrific day. Police lights, crime tape won’t be part in this shame but a person of honor who we will hold up his name. Rest In Power Reggie. We will fight this. We love you. 
And the beautiful love story you started for your wife will be written.
