Modern Day Willie Lynch Tactics in Professional Sports

I grew up loving the atmosphere professional sports brought into the homes. It brought the families together to love and hate each other's opponent, even brought communities and strangers together all in good fun for old fashion sports gathering. It became a tradition to watch sporting events with friends and family. That was until they allowed politics into the fray by using charitable causes to promote awareness. Professional sports has promoted almost every cause from cancer to leukemia, from domestic violence to drunk driving, and a plethora of special need causes. While promoting these causes, they also had sponsors buying ad space, commercial slots, and or spotlights. As the years progressed the armed forces joined the excitement and brought advertising space for recruitment purposes. It was all well and good until one lone Black player wanted to bring awareness to problem that only seems to stem in the neighborhoods from which they come from. That awareness was and is police brutality, police accountability, and systematic racism in almost every aspect of life. This is almost starting to sound like a modern day slave movie, but any way that awareness came in the form of taking a knee during the national anthem.

Now mind you, this player took a knee to bring awareness to a plight that seems to affect only Black people. A people that's constantly being killed by the police with no accountability, severe miscarriage of equal justice, has a school to prison pipeline specifically designed for Black children. This player use his platform; unbeknowest to him he sacrificed his career to bring awareness to something that direly needs to be addressed. He even consulted with a "WHITE" veteran before doing so and the that same veteran suggested he take a knee. The same knee soldiers give when they lose a comrade and it was just too hard to bare. Well this player did the same for his fallen comrades, which happens to be men, women, and children. Somewhere along the lines a white person says he's disrespecting the flag and all of a sudden all of white america (I lower cased america for a reason that I won't get into right now) is up in arms saying that the player was disrespecting the flag. Completely ignoring that a WHITE VETERAN suggested it and other veterans seem to agree. It got so out of hand that white people started saying he was protesting the anthem. DId you see how fast the awareness for the plight of black people got lost. White people chose a song and a flag over the lives of black people. This player now wears a scarlet letter, he was blackballed by other owners of sports teams, because they call his awareness a protest.

Now that this player isn't currently playing they decided to use him as an example by declaring that there will be fines for kneeling players trying to bring awareness to Black plight. Yet they say it is disrespectful to kneel to an inanimate object veterans have fought and died for. First of all they didn't die for flag, they fought and died for a country, not a flag. That flag just happens to represent the country in which they died for. So what do these stuck in denial ass people decide to do. They decided to pull the Willie Lynch Method. For those of you who do not know of the Willie Lynch method; it was a concocted vicious slave owner that gave instructions on how to control slaves. One on of the most ruthless tactics was as mentioned in the book;"take the meanest and most ruthless nigger tie him up in front of all the remaining nigger males, nigger females, and nigger infants. Tie his hands and feet to two horses facing opposite directions. Tar and feather him in front of all the nigger males, nigger females, and nigger infants. Set him on fire and beat both horses until they tear him apart. Take the remaining nigger males and beat them in front of the remaining nigger females, and nigger infants. Beat them to an inch from there lives, don't kill them but put the fear of God in them. Keep the body, but take the mind." The owners of that sport establishment are using this tactic and white america approves of it, by refusing to see the core issue of what started this whole thing, Which was to bring awareness to the Black lives that were lost and or unjustly incarcerated. To simply ask america to say, "Yes Black Lives Matter Too".
