And the Black Man was angry with this passage we made, incarcerated in your prisons, he still lived a life as a slave. Harriette Tubman, Ida B. Wells, Madame CJ Walker just wouldn’t die. Angela Davis, Shirley Chisholm, Maya Angelou had us reach for the sky. So all you could do was try to put us to death, Amy Spain, Sandra Bland, Breonna Taylor, let me take a breath.
But it wasn’t until Michelle Obama, that I saw we couldn’t die. Still the Queen of Civilization, you couldn’t take us out even if you try. Even the efforts of a Black Male President couldn’t compare, because without a Black woman he wouldn’t even be there. And while many Black men became discouraged and gave up hope. That’s when the Nubian Queen grabbed the system and tighten the rope. We orchestrated, calculated and even strategized. In the loss of a Georgia race, Abrams knew she still had to rise. Taking over what Democrats were so afraid to do, still being mama, business women, as our mission only grew. But there was much heartache, much suffering for being the boss, burying our children, being a teacher, caring through COVID when we thought all was loss. You even thought you could buy us with your stimulus check. You just wanted the WAP but you ain’t seen nothing yet. And yesterday it was you that tried to destroy the government we lead.
