TIH: Thanks for agreeing to sit down with us! Please introduce yourself and your business. 

PPV: I am Subrina Sturgis Hough, College Parent Recruitment Coach. My company is Parent's Point of View Inc. Our mission is to educate parents and students in the full educational process of their college prep from planning, finance, sustainability, to graduation.

TIH: I'm sure parents and students appreciate assistance in navigating through the college process. So what brought you to the Salisbury/Rowan County area? 

PPV: I came to Rowan County to work for a childcare center as a Director. I have now made this my home and I love this community. 

TIH: What type of services do you provide through Parent's Point of View? 

PPV: College prep planning for parents and students; pass scholarships and college searching. Parents must learn the college prep process to get their children, From Momma's House to College. TIH: Black Line News is an advocate of uniting and empowering the black community. What do you believe is the best way to accomplish this with our local community? 

PPV: Educating the community not just on resources but how to regain their strength to move forward.


TIH: Is there anything else you would like our readers to know about you or your business? 

PPV: I have a 2019 Campaign titled Early Really Is Better College Prep. This is for parents and students in elementary school for educating them in the entire process.
