Let my people go during COVID?

There hasn’t been much talk about the 2.9 million brothers and sisters incarcerated during this COVID crisis. There hasn’t been much concern about their tight quarters and their inadequate conditions. Their numbers and data have not been plastered on every news cycle. There hasn’t been much talk about those in prison. And as I consistently pray for their safety, I wonder how cruel can we be to keep those non-violent offenders locked up. They don’t deserve a death sentence for a mistake. They don’t deserve to be housed with the murderers and pedophiles. Can we for once make some sound and mature legislation as we know that our prisons are disproportionately filled with brown and Black people? I’m not here to spew out statistics. I’m not I here to give you the historical background of incarceration. I just want to ask America to do what’s right for once and let my people go.
