Honoring DJ Blessed - Restoration

Bad things sometimes happen to really great people. A believer who uses his life to benefit others, a ministry leader who shares his gifts to fight social injustice, a DJ who can battle anyone in the secular world but instead chooses to use his talents to give others hope, is who DJ Blessed is. Recently he was faced with the devastating trial of losing his home to fire. I’ve heard stories of the grief this causes to many but because of this man’s great works, a benefit concert hosted by I Heart Radio’s own Katris Wright was set up and a host of local influence followed suit. I have not had the pleasure of meeting this man but everyone I’ve encountered had nothing but kind words for him. I’m looking forward to formally interviewing him and featuring the great work he does. I have personally been blessed by the daily prayers he writes on Facebook. This event benefited local business, had great performances and the youth had a ball. This is truly what community is about.
