"You Reap What You Sow..........A Letter To Rae"

"You Reap What You Sow..........A Letter To Rae"

Dear Rae Carruth,

I was about 16 or 17 years old when I watched the news about you being charged for killing your pregnant girlfriend.  I cried and cried because I couldn't wrap my mind around how anyone could be so cruel to have his pregnant girlfriend killed.  I mean let's be real......what was going on in your head???  Seriously if you didn't want to have a baby, you could have just walked away, filed for visitation rights or anything else other than killing her!  Now you have a teenage son who has cerebral palsy and brain damage due to decreased oxygen after you took his mother's life.  If you are released from prison, you do realize that your son can easily sue you because of his health condition.  Why?  I'm just saying, the writings are on the wall and something like this isn't going to be settled out of court.  I read where you wanted custody of your son upon your release.  I can't help but wonder if this would be beneficial to your son being that he has been raised by his grandmother and she has worked hard raising him and keeping him healthy.  What changed in your mind to actually want Chancellor now?  Have the ancestors been speaking to you?  Otherwise, I'm concerned if it is just a publicity stunt.  If and when you are released.......and you walk out of those gates, I hope that you see Charica in his eyes and feel every bit of her spirit because I know that they will be waiting for you outside.  The goal of this letter is to hopefully bring you some questions to ask yourself when it comes to the well-being of "Chance".  Right now you make $1 a day cutting hair as a prison barber.  When you return to the real world, what do you expect to do to take care of yourself because my family always reminded me that there is no way you can take care of someone else if you can't take care of yourself first.  Believe that you will come across many obstacles due to your charges and more importantly because of who you are.  I, Nzuri Asha`, lift you up to the ancestors and ask them to give you a clear pathway despite what you have done.  I ask that they will surround you and keep you mentally stable because you have a long road ahead of you.  My hopes is that the consequences of your mistakes won't bury you but at the end of the day, you reap what you sow.

Peace, Love & Light,

~*~Nzuri Asha`~*~
