A Picture Perfect Heart - Flo of Pictures Photography

North Babylon is everything to me; perfect weather, good people and great food. Nestled in the heart of Long Island, the beaches on every end and the visual magic of the sound was a perfect place to grow up with my friend Flo Siemsen. She is too dynamic for words. And her kindness and heart for advocacy will make you love her all the more. Read her story and support her business as I plan to do.

“I took care of 🐎 horses for 10 years, was a licensed massage therapist for 22 years (retired) Medical Proofreader for 5 years, security guard for 6 years, professional photographer for the last 7 years! Whew! I'm tired!! Lol. 

After being a security guard (midnight shift), my daughter was a baby then... changing of the guards with my husband,  I was laid off from Newsday. That's when my husband bought me my Nikon camera. I started taking pictures for fun and decided to make a page, just to show my pictures. That's where Flo of Pictures was born!

People took a liken to my pictures and started buying prints and also asking me to take pictures at sweet 16 parties and some small weddings...it just snowballed from there! Before I left NY to move down South, I was recognized as the top 50 females photographers on Long Island! Very proud moment!
