ATTENTION ALL FAMILIES‼️‼️

We are currently in a time of crisis, yet one of the greatest opportunities for us to show forth the LOVE OF GOD. The COVID-19 is running rampant and has ignited a great pandemonium everywhere. Now, before you chime in with self-righteous comments or hypocritical commentary, please hold your tongue until you fully read this‼️ Prior to the arrival of the Corona Virus, many families were ALREADY struggling with day to day necessities such as food, finances and resources. Now that businesses have shut down, reduced their hours of operation and laid off workers, schools have temporarily closed the doors, and resources are scarce, the struggle to merely survive is even greater.

However, there are schools and other helping agencies that are willing to lend a hand to those in need. Parents, if your child is eligible for the prepared lunches that are being passed out in the communities to supplement missed meals in your home, go get them!! Even if your child don't want it, get it and give it to another child that may be hungry due to a food shortage in their home. Community members, check on your neighbors. Just because you may have everything you need to sustain this time of uncertainty does not mean your neighbor is good.

Don't expect people to publicize their need. Knock on their doors, make a phone call or simply ask them...you never know what you will learn about a person and their need/situation until you let down your guard of survival mode and open your heart of survivor mode. We have to do better about taking care of our brethren.
