Shanquella B. Robinson Update 12/2/2022

Local News Reporter Joe Bruno has truly helped  to give the sad story of Shanquella Robinson some traction. Joe cares about the people of Charlotte and I know this first hand when I had an incident that needed his guidance. And now there are many people from all around the world, following this story so her family can try to begin to heal.
For me this case really says something about race, as a local Black woman was discarded by people she trusted. The players involved must of really felt they would have gotten away with it. And as another mother, there are so many, grieves, by next year we will have moved onto to the next tragedy. Some of us already have moved on as we hit our 100th homicide in Charlotte and in the wake of a school bus shooting it’s hard to keep attention on just one incident.

Well, I say this is about race because if we don’t admit that some of us have so much hate for one another in the Black community which is my focus, this will never end. Some of us are so shallow that lashes are more important than life and lace fronts and styles get more attention than these daily murders. Narcissist and sociopaths that were once coined to Caucasian’s now swarm our Black streets.
You see we are paying close attention to Shanquella’s because the circumstances are so unusual but it’s actually the same old hate. The same old murders that bring us back to this.
And I return to Joe Bruno, someone who I truly consider a friend and I wonder why he cares about us, more than some of us care about us. Maybe he will answer that question for Black Line.
