Eye of the Tiger - Ira Guinn, Youth Program Owner, Entrepreneur

I was late for a meeting with Mr. Ira Guinn this morning, one of the Super Icy Brothers. I actually didn't estate my time well between meetings and I was a little disheveled. Yet as I pulled into his luxury community in lavis Fort Mill, I noticed I had been there before. One of my worst business transactions transpired there and not even the beauty of the place could get me pass the awful feeling that set into my stomach upon seeing it. But I had to let all that go when I saw Ira smiling in front of the club house with an adjacent pool that glistened in the sun. Temps were at 90 degrees as we entered a private suite that was designed like a movie theatre.  

I was familiar with Ira and his successful water ice business called, “Super Icy Brothers”. I was aware this was his hot season and I felt bad about being late. He and his wife also own a travel business which we didn’t have much time to focus on. I didn’t even sit down to start the interview. I wanted to make up for loss time but to my surprise Ira was prepared to give me a history lesson, a blueprint and inspiration all in one meeting. 

So finally when I did sit down Ira began explaining his new Youth Program and how he coached and wanted to give more time to kids. We weaved in and out of the conversation, building on why so many businesses fail and how our youth are not taught self awareness and financial stewardship. He explained how these were all components of his youth program. 

We spent the next hour crafting out what we now know will be our future podcast. Ira Guinn is an innovator who consciously is crafting solutions for our youth. He has the eye of the tiger and I was honored to have this meeting with him. God will sometimes show you a glimps of your future without revealing what He has in store. Three years ago when I had my bad business transaction, I would have never figured, I would be partnering with a Super Icy brother in the same place. Yet, it pleases me to announce that Ira Guinn, is one of our new leads for Black Charlotte, #29, and he is about to take us to new heights.
