Willingboro's Local Social Media Sites Acted as it's own Major Network to Help Find Child

​ Yesterday the community of Willingboro received a robocall and a missing child alert from it's outstanding Police Department; less than 24 hour they found the child, if that is not outstanding I don't know what is! But this article is about what was revealed about Willingboro's local social media sites and it's people. Once the call and alert was received, there was a unified effort of communication on social media from ordinary citizens, to local Facebook page administrators, and their local websites and TV stations. From coverage, to information, to search parties, there was no chaos in the exchange of information. It was as if the  Willingboro community was its own major news network for the people to be updated. Although for the good cause of finding a child, Willingboro revealed to itself that those that running these local social media sites and websites, have the potential to become a major news network for the township.
