Kirby Samuel, a native son of Darlington, SC was born to Jeanise Dargan. As a child, it was instilled in him to serve God as well as help others. Raised predominantly by his great grandmother, Zilphia Bacote in the Mechanicsville community, Kirby was predestined to make a difference in the lives of others. He is a graduate of Mayo High School for Mathematics, Science, Technology, as well as attended SC State University, double majoring in History Education and Business Administration. In 2016, he opened a general business specializing in lawn maintenance. In 2017, he married Tyeesha Curtis and they have two daughters and in 2018, they co-founded a nonprofit, K&S Community Outreach in which gives back to those in need in the community. In 2019, he left a career to pursue a career in life insurance. Kirby currently serves as a final expense liaison for Lincoln Heritage Life insurance company.
