Are We Really Tired of the Injustices?

Black Willingboro

With the latest victim Jacob Blake an unarmed Black man that was simply breaking up a fight being shot in the back 7 times sending another shockwave of protest through the Americas; these questions remain, "What are we doing? Are we protesting? Are we marching? Or are we going to create a system that will exact the change needed?

If history has proven anything it is to go get in their (All Branches of Government) faces and demand change. Protesting and marching only gives mainstream media a narrative to switch in their favor. History has proven this time and time again that we are called everything under the sun except human beings that simply want equality across the board. What are the results of protesting and marching; it gives infiltrators a chance to undermine everything we are fighting for, by destroying property and we get blamed for it. And what do we do knowing this instead of changing our strategy, we continue to do the same thing over and over again. We call for separation to create our own, but ignore the platforms that will enable us to do so. We call for reparations but have created no real think tank to help receive those reparations. We call for us to create our own economy, yet we continuously again ignore the platforms created to help do so. We call for our own government but create nothing to even get started on doing it and or again ignoring platforms created to help make such change.

     What are we doing?

Absolutely nothing but screaming, marching and wasting time on things that will not move us toward the change needed. Yes they will hear us because we are screaming at the top of our lungs. But without us in the places where we can make change, or us keep ignoring platforms that will help us enact the changes on our own nothing is going to change. We must convert our resources back to us, by actually joining these platforms that made to convert the resources back to us. Join those online Black owned business directories, Join those groups that put resources back into the communities. Be the change we seek, we are the generation our ancestors were waiting for! For we have more resources, education, and freedom to do so. But we are stuck on protesting, marching, screaming vote; but doing nothing in the places where we can make changes ourselves.

History has shown us constantly that there were more than one Black Wallstreet, we post and share that history proudly. Yet out of egos, envy, and jealousy we can not replicate what our ancestors created before us. They clearly showed us during times when racial tensions were way higher than that of today that it can be done. What is our excuse? Why can't we just work together like our ancestors did. Black Line News Is trying our damndest to change the narrative, and give us platform to not only change the narrative, but give us a place to actually work towards change that will benefit everyone involved including our communities. Something like a Black owned business directory such as BlackWillingboro.com

Yes, there's an agenda! The agenda being once there are enough businesses involved in the directory we move forward to create a think tank full of business owners to not only expand but to create a task force for our communities. We are always asking celebrities to put money into our communities when clearly we have the power to do it ourselves. With the creation of this think tank comes the building of a financial institution that will enable us to build what is needed for our communities without looking for handouts. Or are we going to continue to wait for another killing to say enough is enough and repeat the cycle of marching, protesting, and telling each other who to vote for, when life today says it is US the descendants of our ancestors who needed to make the changes ourselves as they did when racial tensions were at its worse. Our ancestors simply did it themselves, when will we uphold their legacy!
