The current state of the black male mind . . . By Link

Fear, is what I notice most when speaking to another King. Wether it be the fear of failing or the fear of consequence for a mistake or misstep, it's all the same because it only serves to prevent you from achieving greatness. Through conversation as well as my own experience I've come to understand where these fears derived from. Fear has never been crippling for me because I can't think of much that could scare me. In fact I spend more time afraid that something will happen to someone I love than I ever spent worried about my own safety. No I don't think I'm a killa or a tough guy I'm just unafraid. But to speak with a king and realize he has built a cage of fear around him and his capabilities is disconcerting to say the least. People have told me everything from "I'm just waiting on the right time" to "they ain't tryna really see us win" all the way to "I'm trying but shit just ain't working out". The startling thing is how easily each of my Kings were ready to give up on the ideas they never put any effort into. Almost like they were so afraid to fail that they refused to even try. Over the next few months I'll be recording and documenting my day to day moves to showcase how easy chasing your dream really is if you commit whole heartedly to the goals you set for yourself. Good Morning Royalty.
